The Banner Phoenix Wheelchair Suns makes more than 30 appearances, participating in fundraisers and visiting local school and youth groups to raise awareness of disability issues. They created a “Drive Safe Campaign” that features TV and radio public service announcements, posters and school assemblies geared toward educating young drivers. Also, the Wheelchair Suns offer a four-part series of skills clinics twice each year.
